Global Citizens

Connecting Global Citizens is an educational research project that engages with young people's concerns about the climate. Workshops with secondary school students employ arts-based participatory methods to generate artefacts that represent young people's climate concerns. The artefacts then leave their creators and travel to where adults involved in community climate action can engage with and respond to the concerns. The project is led by Dr Shona McIntosh, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education at the University of Bath. She facilitates the workshops and researches and publishes in the field of Global Citizenship Education.
